Although it is a rainy season in August, but on the race date, it is quite sunshine with good temperature, and fortunately all runners have arrived to the finish line safely even the last runners came up to the finish line at 12.30 pm. They really had the strong sportive spirit of the ancient time as all runners passed by the Elephant Terrace stadium from 12th century in the tropical climate of Southeast Asia.
Mr. Alastair Slade who ran 42k after giving a constructive advice for the better arrangement of next year event, he also said: “ the actual nature of the course itself was OK- relatively flat, wide and well-marshaled. It was easy to follow. It was also great as a leading runner to have a bicycle escort for the entire run. the section on the U- turn along the villages towards Banteay Srey temple was really well supported, the villagers have made the atmosphere great! The volunteers did a great job with providing water & food along the route-many thanks to them and also to the bike riders who kept me company along the way!”.

In the name of race organizer, we would like to extend our deepest gratefulness and warmest thanks to all runners who have come to share experiences and friendship with Cambodian people, especially through this event participation, they have also done the charity to poor children in Angkor Children hospital, Kantha Bopha children hospital and the Cambodia Red Cross.
